Last year we had so much fun that we’re going again! Join us for a celebration of great food and fine wine at the 8th annual Epicurean Escape at the Grand Lido Negril Resort & Spa in Jamaica from June 27th to July 1st, 2007. Epicurean Escape is a signature event held annually to great acclaim. In association with Food & Wine Magazine, the Epicurean Escape at Grand Lido Negril celebrates extraordinary food and wines. Several of the nation’s most acclaimed chefs and wine experts are invited to visit and work alongside the resort’s own award winning chefs to collaborate on culinary creations reflecting the flavors of the island as well as the featured theme.
Grand Lido Negril, a Conde Nast Traveler’s Gold List Winner, is a luxury resort tucked away on a cove of sugar-white sand beaches with stunning views of the Caribbean, and offers the convenience of an all-inclusive resort for a truly care-free and great fun vacation.
Each day is filled with scheduled activities to enjoy at your wish. Among the many offerings for your pleasure and amusement include: interactive cooking classes with celebrity chefs, pastry making classes, wine and champagne tastings, martini and rum tastings, sushi class and Grand Lido will be hosting a private cooking class for the Single Gourmet!
Other daily activities include unlimited water sports such as windsurfing, water-skiing, sailing, snorkeling and scuba, all with instruction. For landlubbers there’s tennis, volleyball and golf. After a long day of fun and frolic, enjoy the spa’s perfect pampering (complimentary manicures and pedicures included) or the fitness center.
Evenings are culinary celebrations with the resorts restaurants providing a variety of dining experiences. Events include nightly themed parties and grand buffets, formal dinners and barbeques, beach parties, fun and informative wine seminars and spirit tastings, all with live entertainment. This ultimate indulgence is unbelievably priced at $980 for a Garden View Suite per person based on double occupancy or $1280 for a Beach Front Suite per person based on double occupancy. Single rooms are available at additional cost. Everything else is included!
